Some woman gave me a stuffed zebra and a note saying that she likes my car. I came out just as she was putting it on my roof, so I got to wave to her and her family and they seemed really cool and I still can’t get over this.
Okay, I am 99% sure that she liked my Futurama and Bernie stickers, and maybe some others, and it wasn’t really the car itself that got her attention. But still. It’s easy to forget just how wonderful a simple compliment can feel to someone. My girlfriend was super happy about the zebra, too. She named him Bernie.
